We also went to this national park thing. It was a series of mini waterfalls with pools
of water to swim in. We didn’t swim
though—we didn’t know we’d be going but we wouldn’t have anyway—it smelt fishy
(and that’s not something I want to smell like). We walked along a short trail along the
water’s edge, snapping pictures along the way.
We then moseyed on up to a bench and took a rest before hopping back on
the motorbike for the rest of the journey.
As a side note, riding on a motorbike for hours is not at all
comfortable. The bum goes numb—a painful
numb. Back to the rest—
Another cool thing we saw was an archaeological site. One of the temples was an old burial site that had started being uncovered so there were sections to view the skeletons in the ground. It was most fascinating to realize that under all this skin and fat are the bones making the very structure of who we are.
